I took a peek at the New York guide and was pleasantly surprised to find some of my favorite "under the radar" spots and attractions recommended including the Pegu Club (Gin Gin Mule anyone?), Prune Restaurant and The LES Tenement Museum. But don't worry, the big-name museums, restaurants, hotels and tourist attractions are here too.
Miami and Milan are the newest on their list of 30 cities worldwide. great finds! we'll be heading to cozumel where we've vacationed the past 5 years in a row so no need for a guidebook, but if we were to be adventurous these would totally make the list!

The little guide books sound like perfect traveling companions. I think it is great to travel locally. There are so many interesting places that need visiting right here in the USA. Its also interesting to see what many other places are like rather than always going to the same familar spot.
