Tip #1 - Never ever travel with a full-size bottle of perfume. And yes, I learned this the hard way in the 90s with a bottle of Obsession. Here are some of my travel friendly fragrance picks:
1) Banana Republic - In addition to their regular fragrance wardrobe, BR also offers adorable minis priced at just $7.50 (when you buy two or more).
2) Lavanila Rollerball - Rollerballs are back and this Vanilla Grapefruit scent is one of my favorites. I love that its made from 100% natural ingredients like Madagascar vanilla and priced at $18 for 10 ml.
3) Sephora Scent Sampler - This is a genius gift idea. Inside you'll find nine-ten deluxe size samples of popular fragrances. Try them all on your travels and then turn in the gift voucher for a full-size bottle of your favorite. Take your pick from "Trendsetters for Her," "Best Sellers for Her," or "Best Sellers for Him" all priced at $50.

Another great option is to get a small sample of some fragrance you've always wanted to try or one you love from the perfume court online.
They give you a little atomizer and I was able to try out a few possible fragrances for the wedding.
As a frequent business traveler, I can attest that the rollerball perfumes are the best!
Another packing tip - but this is more about the actual physical packing - make sure your heavy items are on the lower half (hairdryer, heavy shoes) this way, your luggage is less likely to topple over! It seem obvious but until someone told me it never crossed my mind.
Great tips. I love the Sephora Scent Sampler suggestion. My honeymoon is over - smiles - but I need a new scent and this is the perfect way to test some! :)
Great advice. I completely agree the rollerball perfumes are the best! They are even great to keep in your purse when you're on the go.
Speaking of fragrances, how do you feel about the idea of buying a special fragrance for your wedding day?
I just got a mini bottle of flowerbomb with my recent purchase. It is perfect for travel.
I just added you to my blog list. Thanks for sending me the note! I'd love to be added yours as well!
Thanks for all the great feedback ladies!
Allison, I think having a wedding fragrance is a great idea and another special way to remember the wedding. I test drove a bunch in the months before the wedding to figure out my favorite.
That Sephora Scent Sampler is an awesome tip, I love everything from that store!
So I'll only be bringing only my 7.5 oz size perfumes on the honeymoon to Florida this summer ever since my fiance proposed to me with a gorgeous diamond engagement ring from www.idonowidont.com
I also would love to give out little fragrances to all my bridesmaids but didn't know if this was a cute idea or not.
