Put a ring on it!

Ok ladies, in follow-up to my previous ring photography post, I've started a tradition of photographing my wedding rings on all my trips. It's a fun way to chronicle my travels and as my mom pointed out, my rings will look the same years and years from now. Not sure what she meant by that...

Anyway, here are some of my favorite photos from our Mexico winter-moon (tune in Friday for the review).
Oh and a few things I learned:

- Be very careful when shooting around the pool on a windy day
- Don't attempt to photograph your ring in the sand unless its in a bowl

If you want to see some more I've put them online here.
Let me know what you think and feel free to email me with your traveling ring shots too!

How pretty!

I don't wear my engagement ring on a regular basis, and I have never traveled with it...but this really makes me want to bring it if only for the photography.

I really like the one on the rocks, but the banana pic is pretty funny. You did a great job!

I love this idea. Can I ask what the ring is sitting on in the first picture? For some reason my feeble brain can't process this one.

In the first pic, the ring is on my knee : ). I think my faves are banana, pistachios and drink.

I looooove your set! Of course we have similar taste, as mine is almost identical! However, my wedding band sits far off my finger. Does yours? Do you have any pictures of your rings on your finger? Would love to see. Your engagement ring is huge and lovely!!! :)
